What is yoga
There are several paths of yoga or forms in which yoga is practiced.
Hatha yoga is what is used in most yoga classes. Hatha yoga is the use of physical postures
know as asanas, and breathing exercises know as pranayama as a means to
strengthen the body and still the mind. Anyone who continues with regular practice becomes aware of a subtle change in their approach to life – for, through persistently toning and relaxing the body and stilling the mind, one can begin to glimpse a state of inner peace which is our true nature.
Yoga is useful for reducing:
Tension throughout the body
Lower back pain/any back problems
Amount of medications (asthma or
blood pressor)
